K-Museum Tour and Kimchi Making Class
Let's experience Kimchi at Seoul!
Seoul offers various Hallyu programs and I signed up for the 'K-Kimchi Museum Tour'. Not only visiting the museum of kimchi, but also learning how to make kimchi. Let me tell you my experience through this program!
Tour of Kimchi Museum
The Kimchikan Museum has 3 floors, from the 4th to the 6th floor. On the 4th floor, we can learn about the history of kimchi and the benefits of bacteria produced from kimchi fermentation. On the 5th floor, there is a kimchi storeroom and four seasons of kimchi information. Then on the 6th floor, we can experience kimchi by tasting and making it.
Kimchi Making Class
It's time for experience kimchi. We'll see a demo of how to make kimchi, then we'll follow along. Simply smearing the cabbage with the kimchi seasoning that has been provided. After that, we can take the kimchi home!

Museum Kimchikan is selected by CNN in 2015, as one of the world's top 11 food museums.
The Korea Tourism Organization (KTO) promote the "2023-2024 Visit Korea Year" campaign with one of the program 'Hallyu Activities Program in the city of Seoul'. Especially during June-July 2023, we can experience various Hallyu programs, from K-Pop dancing to traditional Korean liquor and Kimchi making.
